Our Town Planning Team supports the design and delivery of projects with extensive knowledge of state and federal laws as they apply to the deployment of infrastructure for the telecommunications industry.
The planning team works collaboratively with clients and internal project teams, maintaining an outcome-focused mindset that enables fast and efficient project delivery.
Our town planners have delivered approvals for major greenfield, site upgrade and expansion projects as well as small cell work programs. The key functions of these projects include the following approval and notification processes:
- Due diligence investigations during site selection to ensure preferred sites address regulatory, statutory, community and client requirements
- Review, analysis and feedback on design solutions to maximise visual integration into the landscape or urban setting and alignment with project expectations
- Preparation of approval documentation and, where necessary, managing community and stakeholder notification and engagement
- Management and alignment of specialist assessments (environmental and cultural heritage) and community consultation
- Preparation and management of referrals to state and federal agencies
